About the Role
As the Pulp Electrician, you are responsible for preventative maintenance, repair and modification work. You will ensure that all electrical functions for the division are maintained for optimal performance and that the pulp mill meets its performance targets. You will also have a focus on the reliability of electrical and protection systems. In your day-to-day duties, you will assist with electrical breakdowns and failures promptly to minimise production downtime while actively participating in preventative maintenance strategies. The opportunity to participate in capital and maintenance projects is also available.
This is a day position 8.00 - 16.30 Monday - Friday
About you

You also have:

a minimum of 2 years experience as an NZ registered electrician

a strong electrical aptitude and demonstrated practical experience

a logical mindset and good fault-finding capabilities

experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

knowledge and experience with VSDs, PLCs and DCS systems are preferred
-
a positive outlook - team fit is a must

Plumbers
Hawkes Bay, New Zealand
To be considered for this role you need:
-
Install and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local and national plumbing codes
-
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
-
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances such as water heaters and pumps
-
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine the best course of action for repairs
-
Perform copper brazing, fusio welds, PVC, steel, and iron pipe installations and repairs
-
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
-
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues
-
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
-
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a plumber, with knowledge of copper brazing, fusio welds, PVC, steel, and iron pipes
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
-
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues
-
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Physically fit
-
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Education and Experience:
-
Trade qualification in plumbing or a related field
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial and residential plumbing

Experience working in construction preferred

PGDB License preferred
Electrician (shift)
Hawkes Bay, New Zealand
As the Industrial Electrician (Shift) you are responsible for providing hands on practical electrical expertise and lead assigned tasks and projects for the Lumber division. You will ensure that all electrical functions for the division are maintained for optimal performance. You have will have a focus on reliability of electrical, optimisation and control systems. In your role you will also lead the resolution of electrical breakdowns and failures promptly to minimise production downtime while actively participating in preventative maintenance strategies. There is also the opportunity to monitor and review electrical performance and current processes to identify efficiencies and process improvements.
This is a shift role, to meet the 24/7 nature of the business. The shift pattern consists of 4 twelve-hour shifts, made up of 2 nights and 2 days over an 8 day period.

You also have:

a level 4 Trade Certificate (or equivalent)

a minimum of 2 years' experience as a NZ registered electrician

a strong electrical aptitude and demonstrated practical experience

good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley PLC systems preferred
-
a positive outlook - team fit is a must
